MAPLA 2010 is organized to provide a forum where mining maintenance professionals, operators, researchers and suppliers may exchange experiences, analyze and discuss recent innovations in plant maintenance, asset management and mining smelters. The objectives of the meeting are summarized as follows:
- Promote the exchange of knowledge and experiences in the design, management, maintenance engineering and advance techniques related to the maintenance equipment used in concentration plants, hydrometallurgical plants and mining smelters.
- Identify and analyze best maintenance practices as well as the technologies and procedures on how to achieve them.
- Generate a collaborative network of support and technical exchange among maintenance professionals in benefit of the industry and its members.
