Northwest Mining Association's (NWMA) Annual Meeting, Exposition and Short Courses "Opening Minds... mapping a path to mine".
Northwest Mining Association (NWMA) is a non-profit, non-partisan trade association with over 1800 members founded in Spokane, Washington during the early years of the Coeur d’Alene Mining District. We were soon supporting the mining industry throughout the states of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington, the provinces of Alberta and British Columbia, and the Yukon and Northwest Territories.
NWMA's purpose is to represent and inform members on, legislative, regulatory and technical issues, to support and advance the mineral resource and related industries, to provide for the dissemination of educational materials related to mining, and to foster and promote economic opportunity and environmentally responsible mining.
